So, she answers a job requirement for a midwife in the remote regions of Northern California. She gets the job and moves there thinking her troubles will now be over. But very soon she realizes that life in the town is not as easy as it seemed. In fact, it’s difficult to live there too. She realizes that if she wants to make the town her home she must heal herself first.
