Who’s Melinda Monroe?

The script of the series revolves around Melinda the lead character, played by Alexandra Breckenridge. Melinda, a young and desperate lady with a painful past wants to get rid of the bad and haunting past memories. She decides to leave her home and current city and move to a remote town called the Virgin River located in Northern California.

Life At Virgin River

She thinks living on the Virgin River will offer her an opportunity to leave the past behind and start afresh. She starts a job as a midwife and nurse in the town and begins trying to adapt to the new life. Very soon she finds herself in a trap when she realizes that life is not so easy in the town and to make the town her permanent home she’ll have to heal herself.
