Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski is an American model and actor known for her roles in several superhit TV shows, films and drama series. The actress was born in London, UK, in June 1991. She is the only child of her parents Kathleen and John Ratajkowski.

Her mom earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, and started teaching as a professor of English language, whereas, her father was a painter and art teacher at San Dieguito Academy in California. They met each other at the same university and fell in love. Emily was born while they were unmarried.

Emily has got mixed ancestry which includes English, Irish, German, Polish and Jewish descent. Her father was a Catholic while her mother belonged to the Jewish community.

She Took Up Modeling!
At a very early age, she developed an interest in acting and was obsessed with theater and her earliest role was as Elsa in the play called The Little Match Girl, at the North Coast Repertory Theater School. Then in 2004, she played Harriet Potter and the Throne of Applewort. She also played soccer and performed ballet dancing after which she took up modeling.
